Meet Daisy
Daisy Garrison grew up in Montclair, New Jersey, and graduated from Northwestern University, where she studied Theater and Creative Writing. With director and deviser Ellie Levine, she wrote The Women Who Discovered How to Measure the Universe, which premiered at Raven Theatre in Chicago.
Her first young adult novel, Six More Months of June, sold in 17 countries, was an Indies Introduce Selection, an Indie Next Pick, and a USA TODAY Best Beach Read. She wrote it at Ludlow Coffee Supply and on a bench at the P.S. 11 playground while babysitting. Her adult debut, Tommy from the Moon, publishes on December 1, 2026. In one way or another, she will probably always write about growing up, falling in love, and how no one survives either without their friends.
By day, Daisy is an associate editor at Alloy Entertainment. In her free time she enjoys seeing plays and musicals, knitting the same scarf for over a year, making felt birthday crowns for everyone and their mother, and ghost-writing risky texts. She lives in Fort Greene with her best friend Hannah.
